Chen Mian (陈冕) is the founder of Evoken (演语科技), the company behind Liblib, an AI image-creation and model-sharing community, Lovart, an AI design agent, and LibTV, an AI video creation tool. According to a June 2026 LatePost funding report (republished by NetEase), Chen Mian previously served as head of global commercialization for ByteDance’s Jianying and CapCut, and was born in 1992. In the LateTalk episode 175 interview (July 2026, republished by Chwang), he says he worked on 360 Mobile Assistant after graduating, then at Mobike, MissFresh, and ByteDance, and describes himself as “a product manager.”
On products, he says in that interview that in three years of building the company he shipped three products: Liblib first, the AI image-creation and model-sharing community; then the AI design product Xingliu (星流), whose node-based image workflow attempt failed in 2024; after pivoting to agents, Lovart released its beta in May 2025 with the official launch in July of that year; and LibTV, the video creation tool, launched in March 2026 — he says LibTV contributes more than half of revenue. The interview also says the company has been cash-flow positive since May 2025 and that annual recurring revenue (ARR) has passed US$300 million.
On funding, the LatePost report says Evoken announced a Series B+ round of nearly US$300 million in June 2026, co-led by Granite Asia, Tencent, and Shunwei Capital, with HT Investment and Times Capital participating and existing investors including Gaorong and Ant also investing, at a valuation above US$2 billion; it was also the first time the company presented itself under the Evoken name. The report credits Liblib with more than 30 million cumulative users and over 500,000 original models.
