Definition
RSI describes a loop in which a system improves itself and uses the resulting capability to support further improvement.
Usage and distinctions
The key question is whether an improvement feeds into the ability to improve again, rather than merely revising an answer. Human-led upgrades, task-level self-correction and stronger recursive claims should be distinguished. Forecasts in a discussion are not evidence that the capability has been achieved.
